Amy Forrest

Amy and her husband, Bryan, have owned Reflections Salon & Spa since 2007; however, Amy has worked at Reflections since 1983 when she was first hired as a receptionist. Amy loves the salon atmosphere and attributes her happiness there to the people she employs and the relationships she has built with numerous wonderful clients throughout her career. Working at the salon for so many years has given her much insight to the exhilarating changes the industry offers!

“It’s exciting to develop new ideas in our business and very fulfilling to motivate the Reflections team. I love my staff; they are amazing, talented, honest, hard-working, and extremely fun to be around!”

Amy graduated from Ontario back in the fabulous ’80s! During her time away from the salon, she enjoys traveling, playing golf, spending time with family, and attending sporting events and musical shows. A trip to Guatemala deeply touched her life, and she plans to return there multiple times to volunteer for an on-going humanitarian project.

She is humbled that God has blessed her life with a supportive and wonderful family, which includes a brother and two sisters; her two beautiful children, Bryson and Anna; a loving daughter-in-law, Jenn (who she claims as her own child), and son-in-law, Nigel; two sweet granddaughters, and a fur-baby beagle named Bruno. God is good, all the time.

Making other people feel great about themselves is only part of the satisfaction that she gets from her job. More than anything, she wants her clients to love the way they look and be happy with the services that they have received from her. Her attention to detail has helped her to build the wonderful clientele that she has now. As a master stylist, she continues to grow and learn by attending numerous advanced educational classes and hair shows.

Vicki Jobe-Myers

Vicki has been with the Reflections team since 1982. She knew in 6th grade that she wanted to be a hairdresser because every time she would go to the salon to get her hair done she never liked it, so she decided when she grew up she would be a hairdresser and style peoples hair so they DID like it!

Vicki is a very honest person, so if a client brings in a picture and it won’t quite fit their hair type or it is more maintenance than they realize, she will tell them and help direct them to a style that best fits them. When Vicki first began in the business, she attended many advanced classes and still continues to grow in education. Vicki’s favorite cut is anything that has stack to it! No one should ever think they have learned everything.

An instructor once told her, “if you think you have learned everything, it is time to get out of the industry!” So, with that said, Vicki is still learning, even from the younger members of her team. Her goal when she comes to work is to have clients leave feeling good about themselves! Vicki loves the team she works with at Reflections!

Vicki is passionate about teaching young girls to twirl the baton. She’s been teaching baton since 1975 and currently directs the Galion Tigerettes Baton Corps and is the High School Majorette Advisor. She couldn’t imagine her life without these programs!

Vicki lived most of her life in Galion and is a very big fan of small towns! She is a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. Vicki and her husband both sing in the choir and are involved in lots of committees. She is very involved in the food pantry outreach program at her church.

Vicki’s family is a big part of her life. They help make her who she is! Her dad passed away several years ago, and he is so missed…he was such a wonderful role model. She talks to her mom many times daily; they are very close! Vicki loves to travel to New York City where her oldest brother and his family live, but she is also blessed to have her younger brother and his family close so they can visit often! She has three wonderful step children who all have great spouses and all live in the area. They get to see each other often!

Vicki hopes she can be remembered for her love of life. God has blessed her so much with good family and friends!
